Ontario Trillium Foundation provides $375K grant to help reduce high school dropout rates.
Carlington CHC is the grateful recipient of an Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) grant of $375K over 5-years to fund Students Will All Graduate (SWAG). This goal of this program is to improve high school graduation rates in the Carlington community. It identifies grade 8 students at risk of dropping out and prepares them for high school entry and follows them through their high school career, providing tutors, mentors, life skills, healthy snacks and social activities, to help them succeed.
On Tuesday, January 21st, special guests, community partners and media were on site for the official OTF announcement.
