Programs Needing Volunteers

1. Support to Children’s Programs:
- Early Literacy Reader at Annavale Nursery School
- Program Assistant in our drop-in programs
- Tutoring a young child
- Helping elementary children with after-school homework

2. Support for Youth Programs:
- Program Assistant for youth drop-ins
- Helping youth complete after school homework

3. Support for Adult’s Programs:
- Participate with adults with mental health challenges in our collective kitchen.
- Be a walking buddy to adults with mental health challenges

4. Support for Senior’s Programs:
- Engage Senior’s in exercise programs, social teas and drop-ins.

5. Support for New Canadians:
- Provide New Canadians with language practice opportunities
- Provide help with completing assignments for school, college or university.

6. Support to Medical Team:
-Assist the administrative team to deliver services to patients by helping with filing, filling out forms and the restocking of medical rooms.

7. Board or Committees:
- Become involved with the centre’s policy directives and financial management of the centre.
