Working at CCHC provides the opportunity to work at a fully accredited community health centre providing a stimulating work environment within a health promotion and multi-disciplinary teamwork context. Our multi-disciplinary services include counselors, social workers, community health workers, administrative staff, and a full medical practice with family physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, chiropodists, dietitians, and medical secretaries. We offer an opportunity to work specified hours and practice in a manner that treats the whole person in the context of their individual circumstances.

Standard work week:

The standard work week for full-time employees (1.0 FTE) is thirty-five (35) hours exclusive of a one (1) hour unpaid meal break.

Flexible work arrangements:

Depending on the position, options may include:

- Some telecommuting

- Compressed work weeks

Although most of our positions are regular positions with benefits, we do also have temporary positions that enjoy the designated holiday paid leave, which includes eight (8) statutory Ontario holidays and the August Civic Holiday.

We also hire relief (casual, supply) staff on many of our teams.

We are located in a mixed residential / commercial area, with on-site and free street parking readily available. We are easily accessible by buses that run on Merivale Road or Carling Avenue, or that stop at Westgate Shopping Mall. We are near the experimental farm and other bike paths.
